Phan Dang Hoang is a rapidly up-and-coming designer of Vietnamese origin, currently based in Italy where he studied fashion design at Milan’s prestigious NABA university (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti). His pieces employ sustainable materials that honor the rich heritage and craftsmanship of Vietnam, including delicate fabrics, bamboo, and rattan.
First presented during Afro Fashion Week as part of the Milan Fashion Week SS22, Phan Dang Hoang’s work was widely considered to be one of the best collections of the season and got the stamp of approval of no other than Anna Wintour and supermodel Neomi Campbell.
