Afro Fashion Week

Our flagship event. Every year with Afro Fashion Week Milano, we bring the latest trends in Afro fashion to the catwalks and showrooms of Italy’s fashion capital.

Our design fairs invite creators of African descent from around the world to present their products and services in a dynamic setting dedicated to cultural exchange, business development, and entertainment.

Afro Walk

One of our most anticipated annual events, Afro Walk transports the pinnacle of Afro fashion to the heart of Milan’s Piazza Duomo, capturing the attention of both fashion aficionados as well as the broader public.

A showroom, production ecosystem, and mentorship program for five Afro descedent designers working in Italy, demonstrating that “Made in Italy” is not a question of colour but of know-how and talent.

Fab Five International Bridge Builders

The Fab 5 International Bridge Builders models a new approach to international creative collaboration, fostering cultural exchange and launching innovative fashion to the global stage.

Afro Fashion Cameroon

In Cameroon, we work to strengthen the local capacity to leverage arts and culture as an engine for social and economic development. We currently have an ongoing partnership with LABA Douala university, where we lead fashion showcases, courses, and workshops for students and emerging professionals.

Afro Fashion Showroom

Our online Afrofashion Showroom and pop-up shops showcase Afro fashion year-round! All of the items are straight from the catwalks of Afro Fashion Week Milan and embody the Made in Italy attention to craft, all either handcrafted or designed by Afro-descendent artists. A percentage of proceeds goes back to the Afro Fashion Association to support our work building an ecosystem of mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities for emerging African and Afro-descendent designers.
